“Real Housewives of OC” star Vicki Gunvalson announced her engagement to boyfriend Steve Lodge via Instagram earlier today revealing a giant smile and a huge diamond ring according to Us Weekly.
Fans of the Bravo hit reality series know very well that Vicki Gunvalson wants nothing more than to be married in her lifetime. Followers of the series have watched ad Vicki navigated her life through a nasty divorce after 20 years from husband Donn Gunvalson and a scandalous relationship with Brooks Ayers.
Sources close to Vicki reveal that she is”so happy” about the engagement. “He got all of her kids’ and his kids’ blessings before he did it,” the source explains, noting that she was “shocked” when he got down to one knee.
“He made her a romantic meal at home and then popped the question on Monday night,” the source adds.
The happy couple began dating in April 2016. It did not take the reality star and successful businesswoman long before she realized that Steve was the man for her, and one she feels she could spend the rest of her life with.
“I am so ready for marriage, I’m a marriage girl,” Vicki gushed to Us in December 2017. “I told him from the very beginning, if you don’t want to get married, then don’t waste your time with me because I love being married, there’s no ring on right now, but we’re taking it slow and have a great relationship, that’s the most important thing for me, is making sure it’s a
solid relationship.”
Whether or not Gunvalson’s engagement and marriage will play out on the upcoming seasons of “The Real Housewives of OC” remain unknown. As fans know there have been quite a few squabbles among the wives and Vicki’s return to the reality series was left up in the air until her announcement in February.
Vicki Gunvalson announced she would, in fact, be returning to the hit series in the upcoming season, however, cast mate and friend Kelly Dodd stated
that Vicki would only be returning part-time and her status has been demoted from housewife to “friend.”
