Real Housewives of New Jersey OG Teresa Giudice finds herself back in the hot seat with the IRS and Bravo. New rumors are spreading like wildfire, claiming the network is undecided about what to do about the recent developments and has allegedly placed her in a time-out.
Teresa Giudice of RHONJ can’t seem to steer clear of trouble. Recent reports reveal the Bravo star is smack dab in the middle of more serious financial problems with the IRS. Teresa Giudice and her husband, Luis Ruelas, are facing significant financial difficulties due to tax debts. Between the two, they have incurred $3 million in tax liens, with Giudice owing $303,889 and her husband nearly $2.6 million.
Unfortunately for Teresa, her past criminal record and current tax debt could potentially make her a target for federal authorities, according to some legal experts.
According to Ok! Magazine, Teresa’s troubles are rumored to affect more than her pocketbook. They have also reportedly put her reality television career in jeopardy.
Teresa Giudice is accustomed to having her name dragged through the mud. However, recently, new rumors are spreading on social media that claim the RHONJ OG star has been placed on temporary suspension by Bravo.
RHONJ Star Teresa Giudice Poor Choices Land Her In More Hot Water
The viral post, which caught major traction online, claims Andy Cohen was forced to place Teresa in a time-out from filming due to an alleged tax investigation. The post even went as far as to say the decision was made to protect the ‘objectivity and fairness‘ of the ongoing situation.
However, per OK, the suspension rumors are untrue. “That’s 100 percent false,” a source close to production confirmed. “There has been no mention of anything like that.” Well, sort of.
Teresa Giudice has not officially been singled out and placed on suspension. But, it seems the entire cast of RHONJ is on pause. At least for now. The show isn’t even filming, nor is any information being released on when fans might expect the Bravo reality series to return.
“There isn’t even a show to be suspended from,” the insider states. So far, the Bravo network hasn’t locked in a timeslot for RHONJ in 2025 or 2026. The Bravo higher-ups have said currently stated, ‘no decisions have been made about casting or the show’s future.’
Teresa Giudice, Melissa Gorga, and Dolores Catania were given letters from the network encouraging them to stay put. However, Margaret Josephs, Danielle Cabral, and Rachel Fuda weren’t given the same treatment. Though sources stress that doesn’t mean they were officially fired either.
“They were simply told to hold tight and see what happens,” states the insider.
As for RHONJ star Teresa Giudice, well, it seems she has failed to live and learn. Meaning once again, her poor choices could potentially cost her everything.
