Rob Lowe is opening up about his time with his two sons as they filmed the new series, The Lowe Files, in which he and sons John Owen and Matthew explore the Ozark Mountains in search of the “wood ape,” aka Bigfoot.
According to Fox News, Rob Lowe claims to have found what he was looking for. The actor says that he actually saw Bigfoot while he and his sons were camping on the TV show. Lowe says that is where he saw Bigfoot, and that the scene is featured in the show’s season finale.
“We had an incredible encounter with what locals call the wood ape, which is in the Ozark Mountains,” he claimed. “I’m fully aware that I sound like a crazy, Hollywood kook right now. I was lying on the ground thinking I was going to be killed,” he said. “Nothing is staged, nothing is trick-cut — no B.S. I believe there are probably ghosts out there,” he added.
Rob Lowe’s Bigfoot encounter and the rest of his journey with his children will be featured on The Lowe Files, which will begin airing on A&E on August 2, but you’ll have to stick around to the finale if you want to see their “wood ape” encounter.
