Sawyer Sweeten the former child star that played Ray and Debra Barone’s twin son Geoffrey is dead at the age of 19 from an apparent suicide resulting from a self-inflicted gunshot wound.The teen died on Thursday in Texas where Sawyer Sweeten was reportedly visiting family in Texas, and walked out on to the front porch and shot himself.

Sawyer Sweeten’s death was confirmed by his rep Dino May.Sawyer was best known for his long occurring role as Geoffrey Barone on the comedy “Everybody Loves Raymond.”

Sawyer Sweeten and his twin began their acting careers at only 16 months old when the adorable twins were cast on the hit comedy which ran from 1996 to 2005. The real life brothers also were joined on screen on the comedy by their big sister Madylin Sweeten who played the Barone’s big sister Ally.The news of Sawyer Sweeten’s sudden death has let the entire family completely “devastated” and “shattered.”
Sawyer’s last known acting credit was was on “Raymond” The young child star and his brother also appeared in the 2002 film Frank McKlusky, C.I., in which he and his brother shared the role of “Young Frank.” And before that, the Sweeten twins did one episode of “Even Stevens.”
Sawyer’s sister Madylin sadly posted a painful tweet today following the unexpected death of her little brother writing, “At this time I would like to encourage everyone to reach out to the ones you love. Let them have no doubt of what they mean to you.” Fans of Sawyer Sweeten and “Everyone Loves Raymond” have been sharing their condolences and prayers with the Sweeten family today via the social networks after hearing the sad news of Sawyer Sweeten’s death.
