Scandal season 4 has largely been about Olivia Pope’s decision between the two men she loves, President Fitzgerald Grant and Captain Jake Ballard.

In this week’s episode, Jake is out of prison and is working with Olivia and Fitz to take down her father, Rowan/Command, together.
Liv’s two worlds collide as Fitz and Jake may be working together, but are still enemies and rivals for Olivia’s heart.
If the threesome can take down Command, who is responsible for the death of Fitz’s son, Jerry, will Olivia finally be forced to make a choice between Fitz and Jake?
Scandal fans have always been team Fitz, but after her steamy season 3, and season 4 love affair with Jake, fans are nearly as torn as Olivia about whom Miss Pope should be with.
Will Liv finally chose between Fitz and Jake?
Of course, with Jake out of prison, and all signs pointing to Command being behind Jerry’s death, the game will be on for Liv’s affection, which Scandal fans have loved to watch up until this point.
However, sooner or later Olivia Pope will need to make a decision, and while Fitz has been very selfish in his love for Liv, including some jealous fits, ultimatums, and dirty stunts, Jake has stepped up to tell Olivia it’s okay not to choose him, and that she should follow her heart, which has to be endearing to Liv.
Of course, Fitz’s behavior can be attributed to his overpowering love for Olivia Pope, which could be the deciding factor in her choice between the two handsome men. Since we at Hollywood News Daily believe that Fitz and Olivia are the show’s end game, we’re betting on Fitz winning out, but Jake’s a nice distraction.
It will be a roller coaster of emotion when Olivia Pope finally does chose the man she wants to be with on Scandal, but until then we can’t wait to watch Liv, Fitz, and Jake take down Command for all the trouble he’s caused his daughter and those she loves.
