Shakira announces she’s leaving ‘The Voice’
“For now, no, I don’t have any plans of coming back,” she told DigitalSpy. “This was always a temporary thing for me to do.”
However, Shakira leaving “The Voice,” may not be totally permanent, she says “You never know,” when she may come back to the show.
Shakira speaks out on her time at ‘The Voice’
“I never thought I would be on a show like this one. But the nature of the show, you know, the fact that we’re not just judges here, we’re coaches, we’re helping new talent flourish, made me change my mind and made me say yes to being here,” the Latin singer revealed.
It seems Shakira will now have more time to spend with her family, especially her adorable son, Milan, who is seemingly the light of her life.
We’re totally sad to see Shakira leave “The Voice,” but we know Gwen Stefani is going to rock her role as a coach, and Pharell Williams will make contestants “Happy” with his musical talents as well.
