Shameless fans are seeing noticeable changes beginning to take place among the Gallagher family members.
As Season 11 of Shameless grows closer to the show’s series finale, many viewers prepare themselves mentally for an explosive and sad conclusion. A lot is going down with the family these days, and it is not all good.
Shameless Season 11 spoilers reveal that family patriarch Frank Gallagher’s health is rapidly declining. Over the years, fans have watched as Frank has cheated death more times than we can count. But, there is something very different feeling this season.
Frank’s alcoholic dementia is getting progressively noticeable.
Shameless Leaves Fans With All The Feels
He wanders around in an entirely different state of confusion, and his family and friends are showing concern.
The family has begun showing more patience, and there is a surprising look of sadness on their faces. Who would have thought that after everything Frank has put his children thru that, they would even care?
Lip is stepping up and taking a commanding stand as the future family patriarch. He is determined to sell the family home despite how the others feel about it.
Debbie appears to care the most. She wants to keep the family together. However, Ian and Mickey are making plans to move out and possibly start their own family.
Mickey is also showing a big character turn since his dad Terry’s death. He is in tears, mourning a man he hates but loves enough to carry out his final wishes.
Carl is content these days with his career as a Chicago police officer. Liam is worried about being homeless when the family home sells and has a tender moment with Lip.
Lip promises Liam he can come and live with him when the house sells. It is a touching moment between the brothers.
How will Shameless end for the Gallagher family?
Showtime is teasing viewers with the buildup for the finale.
Next week’s episode titled “DNR” is concerning for fans. This title leads many to believe a Gallagher family member could die. At first thoughts, many would jump to think that Frank will finally meet his maker.
The big question on fan’s minds is if Fiona will return in the finale. What could happen that would bring Fi rushing home? Could a Gallagher sibling’s life be on the line?
If Frank does not die, then who and how?
There are few other things in the works that could be leading up to a major surprise ending.

Lip? Could his recent mob involvement place him in danger? He has become desperate to do whatever it takes to take care of Tami and Freddie. Will, it cost him his life in the end?
Killing off Lip would most likely send fans over the edge, but it is the show’s finale, so anything is possible.
A surprising death could land on Carl. After all, he is working as a cop in one of the most dangerous areas of Chicago.
Could the shots fired during the eviction scene foreshadow the future for young Carl? This would be tragic.
Fiona could rush home if one of her sibling’s lives are at stake. But then again, the “DNR” title could be a ploy to play with the viewer’s emotions.
It is a little early to tell whether Showtime is going to go with the obvious ending. It could be they will pull a “Sopranos” and leave us sitting on the edge of our seats and forever wondering?
