Shameless fans in Phoenix were treated with a pre-screening of the upcoming November 10 Season 10 premiere episode which revealed a new Shameless intro featuring an old and new mesh of characters.
The video has been shared on Facebook via a private group (Shameless Fans) and Shameless fans are sharing mixed emotions over the changes. It is no secret that Season 10 will be a big change for dedicated Gallagher fans as it will be the first season Fiona Gallagher-less.
As previously reported actress Emmy Rossum, who played Fiona Gallagher made her exit last season after deciding to leave the popular Showtime comedy-drama.
This leaves many wondering what Fiona’s absence will do to the Gallagher family dynamics. Debbie is stepping up as the female head of the Gallagher household. However, she is going to take things to the extreme and prove once and for all to the rest of the family that she will not be doing anything as Fiona did…that is except having opening intro bathroom sex.
FYI the infamous bathroom wiping controversy also continues on. The new intro also shows Liam taking Debbie’s former part in the family bathroom by wrapping Franny in toilet paper. Franny also takes Liam’s toothbrush in the toilet scene.
One huge added opening feature which fans are loving reveals Mickey and Ian’s bathroom makeout scene. A major error though fans are revealing in the new intro reveals Showtime failed to use is the grown-up and older versions of Carl, Kev and Vee.
According to Meaww.com the first Season ten-episode reveals Debbie taking charge of the family finances and the $50,000 that Fiona left them last season before leaving the Southside.
Debbie (Emma Kenney) has decided each Gallagher gets an allowance via ATM card with $100 each a week on it. Debbie is certainly going to have her hands full taking on the role as the head Gallagher.
The first episode also reveals Lip finally becoming a father. As fans will recall Lip has been down the fatherhood road before, or at least he thought he had for a while with both Karen, who had an Asian baby, and Mandy who Lip believed he had gotten pregnant (and had an abortion) to find out it was also not his but, Mandy’s drunk and creepy perverted dad’s.
Season 10 is all about change and growth, well as much as any of the Gallagher family can manage that is. One person who is not going to change at all is Frank. Come on fans he is who he is and is completely the definition of Shameless.
