Shania Twain is celebrating turning 50-years-old in a big way, just coming off a two-year-Las Vegas stint, Shania wants to say goodbye to touring to her fans one last time.Twain made the big announcement revealing her plans to begin 48-city summer tour, “Rock This Country,” her first tour in more than ten years.
The singer told Good Morning America’s Robin Roberts that it’ll be like one big afterparty. “This is my last tour, so I’m going to make the most of it,” Twain said. “I want to go out with a bang.”
The last Shania Twain concert tour will kick off in Seattle before heading to Canada, then back to the United States for a date at New York City’s Madison Square Garden.Big city stops include Boston, Miami, Washington, D.C., Philadelphia, Nashville and other major markets will follow. Shania Twain’s final concert stop will take place in Fresno, California, in August, a few days prior to Twain’s 50th birthday.
The full tour schedule for Shania Twain’s Rock This Country Tour, which features Canadian musician-actor Wes Mack opening shows from June 5th through 28th, and Gavin DeGraw filling the slot for the remainder of the tour go on sale Friday, March 13th.
