Sharon Osbourne is married to rocker Ozzy Osbourne, who is also the Prince of Darkness, so she has witnessed some pretty scary stuff in her lifetime. However, nothing has scared her as much as the recent medical emergency she experienced while filming the paranormal series “Night of Terror.”
Sharon Osbourne Experiences Bizzare Reaction at Haunted Inn
Sharon Osbourne’s son, Jack Osbourne, is hosting the new season of the Travel Channel’s paranormal thriller “Night of Terror.” The premier of the ghostly thriller airs on October 1 and is the perfect kick-off for the network’s 2023 spooky season lineup.
During the filming, Jack’s mom, Sharon Osbourne, 70, joins her son in an investigation. Jack describes the experience with his mom as “vastly more stressful than anything I’ve ever had to go through,” according to his recent People Magazine interview.
In December 2022, Jack shared that his mom, Sharon Osbourne, joked around just before the investigation. While at the Glen Tavern located in Santa Paula, California.
“‘Well, I’ll just get possessed, and we’ll go home early,'” he recalls his mom saying. “And like, ‘Ha ha ha,’ whatever. So I thought she was f—ing around.”
However, Sharon soon discovered it was no laughing matter once the investigation got underway. Things quickly took an eerie and dangerous turn when the cameras started rolling.
Once Sharon entered a room at the inn that is believed to be extremely haunted, chaos erupted. Sharon fell ill and is said to have become unresponsive. Jack details the horrific moments that followed.
“I was not in the room with her, and the camera guy’s like, ‘Hey, I don’t know what’s going on here,'” says Jack. “We were just kind of confused and thought she was playing a joke on us. Then I looked at the monitor and was like, ‘That’s not normal,’ and I go in and she was out. I mean, she stopped breathing.”
Sharon Osbourne Rushed to Hospital
Once Jack and teh film crew realized Sharon Osbourne was in grave danger, they called 911. The first responders rushed the former” Talk” host to the hospital, where she remained for more than 48 hours.
Jack recalls the hospital ran every single test imaginable on her, from MRIs to CAT scans to EKGs to brain activity scans. He adds, “They checked for stroke, seizure, aneurysms, heart, and sleep conditions. They checked for everything.” According to her medical team, Sharon was in complete normal health.
Sharon Osbourne’s terrifying experience at the inn was caught on camera. The clip shows her blindfolded while wearing headphones. She is seen allegedly attempting to speak to a ghost at Glen Tavern. The Wrap adds that In the footage everything appeared fine… until it wasn’t.
During her ghostly encounter, Sharon asks the spirit, “Were you here during Prohibition?” Only seconds later, Sharon Osbourne was slouching in her seat and unresponsive.
Osbournes Break Silence On Sharon’s Haunting Medical Emergency
During Sharon Osbourne’s hospitalization, the Osbourne family remained silent concerning the events leading up to her illness. At the time, it was only reported that Sharon had suffered a “medical emergency” that resulted in her hospitalization.
A few days after her release from the hospital, Sharon Osbourne took to social media to tell her followers that she was “back home and doing great.”
The hotel, the Glen Tavern Inn, was once featured on an episode of the Travel Channel’s “Ghost Adventurers,” as it’s known for having paranormal activity. What happened to Sharon during that period remains a medical mystery. Her physicians suggested that she may have fainted. That is until Jack shared the spooky footage with her medical team.

The event left the Osbourne family pretty shaken. Jack admits that the experience has changed his perspective. He states, “I avoid the hysterics of demonic attack. Like, I’ve always thought, ‘Okay. That’s just people playing up for the cameras,'” he says.
“But I can’t explain it any other way than that was some kind of… I mean, I almost cringe to say it. Jack adds, “I believe it was some kind of spiritual attack. I was really scared, like, ‘Really? My mom’s about to f–king die while we’re doing a ghost hunt? No, that’s not supposed to happen.’ ”
As for Sharon Osbourne? She has completely recovered following her paranormal experience and living her life as if nothing ever happened.
