Sister Wives: Christine Brown’s Split From Kody Brown

TLC star Christine Brown will relive her dating struggles this week on Sister Wives. Christine’s dating issues are behind her now. She has moved on from Kody Brown and is happily married to the love of her life, David Woolley.

But, in TV time, fans will now get an inside look at the issues Christine encountered stepping back into the dating world after her split from Kody. She reveals it was difficult to jump back into the dating scene. Christine Brown admits at times, she found it all very frustrating.

During Sunday’s episode, Christine gets candid with her family. She admits that at 51, “she’s never dated anybody.” The Sister Wives star explains that Kody Brown was the first boy she ever kissed. She adds that it didn’t even “take place until after they were married.’

But, during her daughter Ysabel’s farewell dinner, Christine opens up to her family. She reveals that dating sounds like fun. However, she finds it frustrating. “It’s not like I go out that much too. And how do I be public like that.”

Christine Gets Sound Advice From Her Family

Mykelti Brown Padron, Christine’s daughter’s husband, Tony Padron, spoke up first. He advises his newly single mother-in-law. “What if you have a profile where you just don’t use ‘Christine’? You just go by, like, a nickname. I’m just saying you could go by ‘Tina’ on a profile.”

He adds: “And you could vibe it out, and then if you ever like someone enough, you could be like, ‘Oh, by the way, that’s me over there.’ My name is Christine.” Tony makes the process sound easy. However, Sister Wives‘ daughter Aspyn Brown’s husband, Mitch Thompson, has some concerns. He says, “I would just be concerned about the type of people you’re finding.”

The men are looking out for their mother-in-law’s best interest and proceed to advise her. They give her a few pointers, telling her to start slow and check out dating sites such as Farmers Only.

Sister Wives: Christine Expresses Her Fears And Concerns

Christine Brown has been very vocal since her split from her Sister Wives‘ spouse, Kody brown. She has a long checklist and knows what she is and isn’t looking for in a potential partner. During her confessional, Christine says, “I’m not interested in casual hookups. I don’t want to do that.”

She admits that she is looking for romance. The mother of six says she never had a lot of this in her past relationship with Kody. She also tells her family that she is not in a hurry to find a new man, adding, “I also really like how my life is right now.

At the time, Christine’s children told her to take her time and get adjusted. They agree there is no reason she should rush into anything. Christine Brown of Sister Wives believes her kids offer some well-thought-out, loving, and sound advice on the subject.
“I know you’re right, and I haven’t done [that]. I haven’t put myself out there. It is frightening. I’m entering the dating world at 50. Everyone comes with the past,” she adds in a confessional. “Everyone comes with a history, and mine’s really complicated.”
