‘Sons of Anarchy’ Spinoff In The Works
Entertainment Weekly reports that Kurt Sutter is finally in the works for a “Sons of Anarchy” spinoff about the Mayans, an Oakland based Hispanic MC gang.
Fans may remember that the Mayans run heroin factories and also are involved in prostitution. In the past, Kurt Sutter, the creator of the show, as talked about doing a “Sons of Anarchy” prequel series, but there is no word on whether or not this new Mayans spinoff will be a prequel or not.
Meanwhile, Sutter has been very busy as of late. His new TV series “The Bastard Executioner” which stars “Sons of Anarchy” actress, and Sutter’s real-life wife, Katey Segal and “True Blood” actor Stephen Moyer. Kurt also recently wrote the screenplay for the Jake Gyllenhaal film, “Southpaw.”
