What Should Players Expect?
With this game, Insomniac has the almost impossible task of following up two other fantastic games. Spider-Man 1 and Spider-Man: Miles Morales were two riveting and action-packed superhero games. This sounds like a good problem to have, right? Although they have hit two home runs with their previous installments, the question is where do they go from there? The answer according to IGN.com is to double down.
Double the Spider-Man and double the map size. Spider-Man 2 will have both Peter Parker and Miles Morales as playable characters. Players will also be able to switch between Spider-Men almost instantly. In doing this, Insomniac has crafted another rollercoaster of a story.
The Combat is seemingly the same, but that does not make it any less of a good time fighting crime. With some new finishers, players will strive to keep their combos up. Fighting in this game is like riding a bike, players will be able to swing back into it even if they haven’t played a Spider-Man game in years.
#SpiderMan2PS5 is a masterclass in cinematic storytelling. It has elevated the superhero gaming genre to new heights and is, in every sense of the word, a masterpiece. Believe the hype, this game delivers.

Fan Favorite Characters!
Although it may seem like the Spider-Man games of old, it’s time to talk about supervillains. Starting off with the headliner of Spider-Man 2, we have the most iconic villain of the franchise in Venom! with the symbiote suit confirmed for this game the real question is who will become Venom? Moving on we also see The Lizard in the trailer! Another iconic villain from the franchise that will be sure to cause players some trouble.
It seems like Insomniac has outdone themselves with Spider-Man 2! It will be very interesting to see how both Spider-Man will come into play story-wise. What have Peter and M.J. been up to? Will Miles get some kind of love interest? As usual, it seems like the story will also involve aspects of the hero’s normal life. That is something not a lot of people tend to think about when it comes to superheroes.
Spider-Man 2 has been highly anticipated for a long time now. Fans of the franchise are foaming at their mouths to finally get their hands on the next installment. The game is set to release on October 20th, and the hype is real!
