The live-action Ahsoka Tano series is set to release in just a few months! Many Star Wars fans are looking forward to this project and can not wait till late August to see the chosen one’s padawan back in live-action. Luckily, we will be getting some more footage very soon! Thanks to the ESSENCE Festival this weekend we will see a sneak peek at Star Wars: Ahsoka.

Fans may be getting some new footage this weekend, but Ahsoka is still almost two months away. Disney Plus’ new series is set to release on August 23rd, 2023. Ahsoka will be the first live-action show to come out after The Mandalorian Season 3. It will follow Ahsoka Tano and some of the characters from Star Wars Rebels as they try to stop the return of Grand Admiral Thrawn. It is highly recommended that you watch Star Wars Rebels as well as The Clone Wars if you want a deeper understanding of Ahsoka’s character.
Ashoka is said to be a continuation of Star Wars Rebels and will have a lot of the same characters. Sabine Wren and Hera Syndulla are two that we have seen in the trailers for Ahsoka. Ace pilot and rebel leader Hera Syndulla and Mandalorian Sabine Wren seem to have big parts in this series. Hayden Christensen is also set to make an appearance but his role is still unknown.
Fan-Favorite Characters Making Returns!
With all of these characters set to return and some making their live-action debuts, fans are very excited about the Ahsoka series. It still is not 100% clear what the plot of this show is, but we will not have to wait too much longer to find out. It is now Ahsoka Tano’s time to shine! From being a young ignorant padawan in the Clone Wars to be one of the few remaining force users in the galaxy. Ahsoka’s journey has not been an easy one. We are all excited to see what Ahsoka will get into next! Only time will tell what kind of adventures she will have in her own series.
