It seems that an estimated time frame for Star Wars: Andor has been announced. It appears that Lucasfilm is looking at the summer of 2022 for the show’s release as they have many things that will come out before Andore, such as The Book Of Boba Fett, Kenobi, and Ashoka.
Andor should be a very interesting show as the series follows the adventures of rebel spy Cassian Andor during the formative years of the Rebellion and prior to the events of Rogue One: A Star Wars Story. … The rousing spy thriller will explore tales filled with espionage and daring missions to restore hope to a galaxy in the grip of a ruthless Empire.
“Star Wars: Andor is set to take place five years before the events of Rogue One. Rumors also suggest that Andy Serkis is returning as the creepy villain, Supreme Leader Snoke. While it’s unclear whether or not fans will see Snoke, actor Diego Luna did confirm that there will be some well-known faces on the series, per ComicBook.com.
You’ll definitely see familiar faces,” actor Diego Luna told Deadline. “I can tell you about this project like no other because I can’t spoil the ending if you’ve seen [Rogue One] already. No matter what I say, I can’t ruin the ending.”

Who will return for Star Wars: Andor?
It will be nice to see Star Wars going back to the Original Trilogy era to see some iconic Empire vs Rebellion action once again. It is stated that we will see some familiar faces in the series so maybe we will see Darth Vader or maybe even the Emperor himself.
It would be nice to see Sidious back in live-action after the controversial Skywalker Saga. It seems that Disney will close out 2022 with Andor and start off the year with The Mandalorian Season 3 and of course the Kenobi show with The Book Of Boba Fett coming at the end of 2021.
It will be very interesting to see what direction this show takes as it can not stray too far or it might make some plot holes for Rogue One. Only time will tell what characters we will see and where the story will go. For now, we can all look forward to the release of all that other amazing shows set to come out before Andor and just enjoy some great Star Wars content.
