Back To Their Roots?

Star Wars seems like it may be going back to its film roots. Disney Plus may want to shy away from TV shows for a short while. Thanks to studios still not wanting to negotiate in the ongoing writer’s strike. Disney is looking to shake some things up with its first TV series The Mandalorian.

The Mandalorian Season 3 saw a lot of criticism from the fans. Even after series star Pedro Pascal said he approves the changes to the show according to GameRant.com. A lot of the blame is on the behind-the-scenes workers. Dave Filoni took less of an active role for season three. Now, there are rumors of changes that make Dave being unavailable look insignificant.

New rumors are saying that The Mandalorian Season 4 is being completely reworked into a theatrical film. Whether this is because of the strike or the criticisms is unknown. One of the main reasons seems to be the upcoming Dave Filoni Star Wars movie. That movie will tie all of the live-action Disney Plus shows together. The Lucasfilm higher-ups may want Mando Season 4 to be a movie so it can transition a little better.

Dave Filoni’s big climax movie seems like a solid idea for a crossover between shows. Ahsoka, Mando, and The Book Of Boba Fett have been rumored to be involved in this crossover. A smoother transition may be exactly what is needed. With Filoni directing and Favreau producing, there is no better duo to do this ambitious crossover.

Mando Set The Bar

The Mandalorian was the first of the Star Wars Disney Plus shows. Therefore it has a special place in most fans’ hearts. Din Djarin, played by Pedro Pascal, really brought the Star Wars fandom closer together after the messy sequels. The Mandalorian set the bar for the rest of the Star Wars shows.
