The Mandalorian Season 3 is being highly anticipated by the Star Wars community. After Season 2’s jaw-dropping season finally, fans have been stuck wanting more and more of the Mandalorian. It now seems that there will be a new character getting throw in the mix in Season 3 and it is someone that Star Wars: Rebels fans should know quite well.

Kevin McKidd was seen hanging around the California soundstages the smash-hit Disney Plus series calls home. The Trainspotting and Grey’s Anatomy star voiced Fenn Rau in the animated show but only appeared in seven episodes. It is looking like there might be another Mandalorian hopping onto the show for Season 3.

“Of course, the precedent has long since been set via the debuts of Katee Sackhoff’s Bo-Katan and Rosario Dawson’s Ahsoka Tano, so there’s no reason why more Filoni-verse alumni wouldn’t end up crossing over into The Mandalorian as the expanded universe continues to tie itself closer together,” reports We Got This Covered.

No one really knows for sure where the Mandalorian is heading plot-wise as it has been kept under pretty tight wraps. But knowing Jon and Dave they will have something amazing waiting for us as they always do.

In other news, it still seems that Disney and Jon Favreau are still butting heads over how long the Mandalorian should run for. Jon wants the show to end either after Season 3 or Season 4, but Disney wants the show to go way past that to milk all the money they can out of it. It would not be a surprise if the show ended after one or two more seasons though.

Is Kevin McKidd joining The Mandalorian?

No new news has surfaced around that area of conflict and so far it is not even confirmed yet. The Mandalorian could easily be coming to an end soon though so everyone should be prepared for that.

It also seems that the Mandalorian himself Pedro Pascal is not on the set of The Mandalorian or even in the United States right now. Pascal was cast to play Joel in HBO’s The Last Of US TV adaptation.

So it seems that Pedro Pascal will only be doing voice work for the Mando but either way it works out as the Mandalorian almost never takes off his helmet. It will be very interesting to see where this show goes but for now, we will have to wait until Season 3 sometime in 2022.
