Steph Curry completely came unglued on Thursday night during Game 6 of the NBA Finals. The current MVP of the league fouled out of the game and then proceeded to not only throw his infamous mouthpiece at a fan, but also yell profanity at a referee.
Steph Curry Ejected From NBA Finals Game 6, Will He Be Suspended?
Steph Curry continued to rack up the fouls throughout Game 5 of the NBA Finals, and of course didn’t agree with any of the calls. So, when he fouled LeBron James with a little more than four minutes to go in the fourth quarter and received his sixth foul.
Curry removed his mouth piece and began to yell profanity at the referee who blew the whistle, and then threw his mouthpiece, which then hit a fan. After that, Steph was ejected from the game.
Now, some fans are wondering if Steph Curry may actually get fined or even suspended for his little temper tantrum. In the past, Udonis Haslem was suspended for throwing his mouthpiece, and some fans think that Curry should be suspended for doing the same thing.
Steph Curry, Warriors Come Unglued In Game 6
While it seems absolutely insane to think that the NBA would suspend the MVP in Game 7 of the NBA Finals, some fans believe that Curry’s name or accolades shouldn’t be in the discussion, but that only his actions should be looked at by the NBA. (Why give Steph special treatment?) If anything, he should be held to a higher standard because of his MVP title.
Meanwhile, Golden State Warriors coach, Steve Kerr, also seemed to be baffled that the “MVP” wasn’t getting the calls. Kerr, who is most definitely getting fined for his harsh critics of the officials, and the rest of this team have let the Cleveland Cavaliers get under their skin, and LeBron James and the Cavs are ready to bring their A-game on Sunday night.
