Taylor Swift’s “Suburban Legends” is reportedly coming to Amazon Prime. The streamer is rumored to be adapting the singer’s albums into a television series, and fans may be in for a treat.
Taylor Swift’s Suburban Legends coming to Amazon Prime?
An anonymous source tells Deuxmoi that Amazon Prime is working on a limited TV series that’s set within the universe of Swift’s albums. The show is reportedly being called “Suburban Legends,” per Reddit.
“Taylor Swift‘s Suburban Legends is in the works at Amazon Prime,” the source said. “It is described as a 9-episode anthology limited series where each episode takes place in the world of a Taylor Swift album.”
Fans react to the Swift TV show speculation
Of course, fans had plenty to say about a possible Swiftie TV show. “Hahaha it’s like the multiverse (Taylor’s version),” one person wrote. “I’m not sure if there’s more context for this, but just from the description in the image, I think it sounds more like a fictional show, not a gossip/expose type thing,” another said. “Earlier this summer, there were reports from more reputable pubs that Taylor was in ‘talks’ about a series based on her past relationships,” another fan mentioned.
Meanwhile, casting would certainly be an interesting debate among fans as well. Would Swift be a character in the show, or would the series simply be set within the worlds she’s created with her albums? This also sparks the question about whether or not Taylor’s famous ex-boyfriends could be characters on the show.
Swift has dated and written songs about some very famous men. Celebs like John Mayer, Joe Jonas, Taylor Lautner, Jake Gyllenhaal, Harry Styles, and many more have all been romantically linked to the singer. She’s currently dating NFL tight end Travis Kelce. However, she’s yet to release any songs that could be about that relationship.

Exploring Taylor Swift’s albums
Taylor Swift has released ten albums during her career. Her debut was a self-titled record, followed by her sophomore album “Speak Now.” After that, Swift released “Red,” “1989,” “Reputation,” and “Lover.” She followed that up with “Folklore” and “Evermore.” Her tenth album, “Midnights,” was released in 2022.
The source claimed that “Suburban Legends” would feature nine episodes set inside of Swift’s albums. However, there are ten albums. It seems that “Folklore” and “Evermore” could be featured in just one episode. The releases are sister albums and would be part of the same universe.
For now, there is no confirmation about Taylor Swift being part of a “Suburban Legends” show on Amazon Prime. Although the “Love Story” singer does seem to have a good relationship with the streamer. Several of her songs have been featured on their hit series “The Summer I Turned Pretty.” However, if the rumors are true, her fans are sure to flock to the streaming service when and if the series is ever released.
