Sung Kang the actor best known for his role as Han in The Fast and Furious franchise has reportedly joined the cast of Star Wars: Kenobi alongside Ewan McGregor and Hayden Christensen. Not much is known about that show as of right now but more details are sure to come.

“To make things even more exciting, Obi-Wan Kenobi will see the return of Hayden Christensen’s Darth Vader. The plot details for the show are still being kept under wraps, though it’s guaranteed that Obi-Wan will be living by himself on Tatooine.

Beyond McGregor and Christensen, Obi-Wan Kenobi features an impressive supporting cast that includes Kumail Nanjiani, Indira Varma, Rupert Friend, Moses Ingram, and of course Sung Hang. Few details about their characters have been revealed, but Kang is rumored to play an Inquisitor,” reports Screen Rant.

In an official interview with Kang, he was asked about being on set with such an amazing cast and how it feels to be in the Star Wars galaxy. He replied with a story about how he used to dress up as Luke Skywalker and Darth Vader, and how he used to make lightsabers out of paper towel rolls. But the most important part of that interview was when Kang said my character has a lightsaber” said in an interview with Screen Rant

As Star Wars fans patiently await the Kenobi show they can only speculate the amazing cinematic shots, the nostalgia of seeing Hayden as Vader, and maybe even seeing Kenobi’s old master Qui-Gon Jinn. But for now, we can only wait and hope that the show will live up to all the very high expectations that have been placed on it.

It will be very interesting to see what direction the show goes in and how many seasons there could possibly be. The show comes out sometime in 2022 but we will have other Star Wars content to hold us over until then as the Book Of Boba Fett comes out at the end of this year and that is sure to be a fantastic show.
