According to a recent post on People, the couple has officially ended their relationship, adding another chapter to Taylor Swift’s long list of high-profile breakups. Taylor Swift and Matty Healy end their romance
Sources close to the couple cited conflicting priorities and the difficulty of finding quality time together as contributing factors to their split. Swift was linked to Healy back in 2014 after the pair first met at a 1975 concert. Swift and Alwyn dated for 6 years before sadly ending their relationship in February 2023. This has led some fans to believe that Healy was simply a rebound. For his part, Healy has spoken out about Swift in the past. In 2016, he revealed that he had no intention of losing himself when entering a relationship, using Swift as an example. “Yeah. Absolutely. And the reason I mention that is because if I had gone out with Taylor Swift I would’ve been, ‘F—ing hell! I am NOT being Taylor Swift’s boyfriend.’ You know, ‘F—. THAT.’ That’s also a man thing, a de-masculinating, emasculating thing,” he told NME.
