Host Andrea Bain then went on to talk about a TikTok theory called the “Dusty Ex-Boyfriend” theory. The idea behind it is that after you have a very serious relationship with a person you thought you would marry, like Swift did with her longtime love, Joe Alwyn, a rebound comes along.
Taylor’s rebound was said to be Matty Healy of The 1975. The pair dated for just a few weeks before splitting. The theory goes on to claim it’s time to meet the man you are going to marry after the rebound. For Taylor, that might be Travis. As for the Kansas City Chiefs player, the panel acknowledged that Kelce has a reputation for being a bit of a ladies’ man. However, Swift is just the woman to turn that around.
