Taylor Swift is one of the most famous people in the world. The singer is an icon, and her name is well-known all over the globe. Of course, her boyfriend, Travis Kelce, is also finding an increase in fame due to their romance. The Kansas City Chiefs tight end has found his life greatly changed since he went public with his relationship in the fall of 2023. While a lot of good has come out of Swift and Kelce’s pairing, the NFL player has found that there has been a negative impact on his life as well.
Previously, it was revealed that Kelce was forced to move out of his KC home after it was confirmed that he and Swift were an item. The athlete’s older brother, Jason Kelce, revealed the scary situation during an appearance on Shaquille O’Neal’s “The Big Podcast.” Jason revealed what his brother had to endure due to his increased famed thanks to Swift’s mega-stardom.
Travis Kelce’s Life Is Much Different Thanks to Taylor Swift
“It has its drawbacks, for sure. I mean, you know even more than I do. And Travis knows way more,” Jason stated. “He had to move here to completely move out of his house, right? People just standing by his house. Yeah, I mean safety reasons. And the first day he moved into the new house, a gated community, somebody knocks on a window of the house,” he added, per Yahoo.
Meanwhile, Travis Kelce has seemingly increased his security and living situation. However, that hasn’t stopped the over-excited fans who love both he and Taylor Swift. During his “New Heights” podcast, the tight end revealed that he had to contact the post office and demand that they stop bringing mail to his home due to fans finding his address and sending him items (via Life and Style).
“The one thing you don’t realize, that when somebody posts your house online, that everybody now has your address and people just send stuff to your house,” he said. “So I literally stopped getting mail to my house. I had to stop. I had to literally tell the post office and everybody to, like, stop bringing stuff to my house.”
However, Travis Kelce isn’t complaining about his love story with Taylor Swift. In fact, he’s keeping his composure, revealing that there is also some “pretty cool” stuff from his rise in fame thanks to the singer.
