In addition, they’ve been spotted on date nights together, and showing off PDA. The couple even made cameos on the season premiere of Saturday Night Live. However, Swift’s best friend, Selena Gomez, is said to be a bit worried about how fast the couple are moving.
Selena Gomez is worried about Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce moving too quickly
According to Page Six, Selena Gomez is concerned that Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce might be taking things a big too seriously to start off their relationship. The “Only Murders In The Building” star allegedly believes that Taylor isn’t acting like herself when it comes to Travis.
“Selena thinks Taylor going to games and galavanting through New York immediately after just meeting Travis is something that is very unlike her,” an insider told the outlet. “Historically, Taylor’s always been super private about everything, and now with this [relationship], she’s so open about it that it’s just very odd for Selena.”
The source added that Gomez was taken aback when she saw the “Look What You Made Me Do” singer hanging with Kelce’s family so soon after they began dating. However, it seems that Selena’s opinions about the romance haven’t impacted her friendship with Taylor. The two were recently seen heading to dinner together in Hollywood.

The insider reveals that Taylor Swift has invited Selena Gomez to join her at some of Travis Kelce’s games. However, the actress has declined her friend’s offers because she didn’t want to have the spotlight of the high-profile relationship cast on her. “Selena just doesn’t want to be part of the media frenzy because it’s really chaotic,” the source stated. “It didn’t come from a malicious place, and it’s not that she doesn’t like them together. She’s just concerned about the way it’s being navigated.”
Meanwhile, Hollywood News Daily previously reported that Taylor and Travis seem to be serious about their romance. Sources tell Life & Style that the NFL star promised Swift that their relationship wouldn’t be just a fling. The insider also claims that Kelce is ready to settle down and start a family. Some friends of the couple even allegedly believe that they could be engaged by New Year’s Eve.
It appears that Selena Gomez is simply looking out for her friend. However, Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce may just be endgame. Only time will tell how the relationship plays out.
