Taylor Swift‘s online feud game is strong. The “Shake It Off” singer seems to have beef with everything these days, including her ex-boyfriend Calvin Harris, and now Kim Kardashian and Kanye West…again.
Taylor Swift’s Crazy Feud With Kim Kardashian and Kanye West
According to CNN, the newest Taylor Swift/Kim Kardashian and Kanye West feud started when Yeezy released his song, “Famous,” which includes lyrics about him having sex with Taylor Swift and calling her a “b**ch,” and claiming to have made her famous.
After the song was released Taylor spoke out about the lyrics and criticized Kanye for the track. Swift fans were a taken aback as they thought Taylor and Kanye had gotten over the feud that originally started when West interrupted Swift’s 2009 MTV VMA acceptance speech by rushing the stage, taking her mic, and ranting about how Beyonce should have won the award.
Kanye West then revealed that he had called Taylor Swift and told her about the lyrics, which he claimed she was fine with. Taylor never denied speaking to Kanye on the phone, but she revealed that she didn’t know that West was going to call her a “b**ch” on the track.
Did Kim and Kanye Cross The Line?
The feud pretty much died down until West released the video for “Famous,” which depicted Taylor Swift, himself, Kim Kardashian, and other celebrities such as Donald Trump, Ray J, and Amber Rose all naked and lying in bed together. Talk started about the feud again, and then Kim Kardashian made it worse by completely dissing Swift during a magazine interview.
Kim Kardashian then released videos of her husband Kanye West talking to Taylor Swift on the phone and telling her about the lyrics and song, which she seemed okay with. Now, fans are taking sides saying Kim and Kanye crossed the line, or that Taylor lied.
Taylor Swift finally spoke out on Instagram about the crazy situation. “Where is the video of Kanye telling me he was going to call me ‘that b**ch’ in his song? It doesn’t exist because it never happened. You don’t get to control someone’s emotional response to being called ‘that b**ch’ in front of the entire world,” Taylor wrote.
It looks like this feud isn’t going to die down anytime soon.
