“Teen Mom 2” stars Leah Messer and Jeremy Calvert are going through a very rough patch at the moment.
‘Teen Mom 2’ star Leah Messer hit with tax lien
In addition to a possible divorce after Jeremy accused the “Teen Mom 2” star of cheating with her ex-boyfriend, Robbie Kidd, the couple are now in trouble with the IRS.
According to Radar Online, Leah Messer and Jeremy Calvert recently had a $10K tax lien put against them.
The lien was put against the “Teen Mom 2” stars back in March, and has since been paid off. However, this just shows that Leah Messer and Jeremy Calvert are having money problems, which could be one of the causes of their marital issues.
However, Leah isn’t the only “Teen Mom” star to get in trouble with the IRS. Maci Bookout also reportedly owes over $50K in back taxes.
Recently, Leah Messer has been dealing with a ugly custody battle over her twin daughters with ex-husband Corey Simms, and has been the subject of many rumors, including one that she has a serious prescription pill addiction.
Leah Messer prescription pill addiction?
In Touch Magazine claims that the “Teen Mom 2” star is allegedly spending $600 a week for illegal meds such as Vicodin, Lortab, Percocet and Oxycodone.
“She’s picked up 30 to 40 pills at a time from me,” a source claiming to be the Teen Mom’s drug dealer told In Touch. “[Leah has been] getting high for years.”
“I’ve seen Leah pop a handful of pills, chew them like they were candy and swallow them,” an unnamed relative told the magazine.
To make matters worse, it seems that Leah Messer and Jeremy Calvert’s relationship is in serious trouble, as Jeremy tweeted that he would be filing for divorce, but the “Teen Mom 2” star says it was all a misunderstanding.
