It’s over for Teen Mom 2‘s Kailyn Lowry and Javi Marroquin. The mother of two confirmed that she and her husband of 3 years have split and plan to divorce.

According to Us Weekly, Kailyn Lowry, 24, confirmed the sad news after weeks of relentless speculation about the state of her marriage to Javi Marroquin.
“We’re trying to do the best we can for our kids because they are what really matters,” The Teen Mom 2 personality stated. The couple share one son, Lincoln, 2, together as well as parent Kailyn’s oldest son, Isaac, whose father is Kail’s ex, Jo Rivera.
Teen Mom 2 fans have watched as Kailyn and Javi’s relationship has continued to have problems over the past couple of years. Marroquin, who is in the air force, was recently deployed, which has only put an even bigger strain on the marriage.

However, before that Kailyn Lowry revealed that she had a miscarriage and that Javi Marroquin wasn’t there to support her during the tough time. The couple also had issues with their arguing in the past, and considered divorce previously.
Back in April, Kailyn Lowry, who recently underwent some seriously plastic surgery, set off a Teen Mom 2 fan frenzy when she appeared with her ex, Jo Rivera, at the MTV Movie Awards, minus her wedding ring. Rumors sparked that the exes may be getting back together, but Jo denied the speculation stating, “We’re maintaining a good friendship.”
