‘Teen Mom 2’ Star Leah Messer-Calvert Heading to Rehab?
According to In Touch Weekly, Leah has a substance abuse problem, and has confessed to husband Jeremy Calvert that she needs help. Leah is allegedly heading to rehab very soon to deal with her issues. “She’s confessed to Jeremy that she has a problem, and knows she has no other choice than to go to rehab immediately,” a source said.
Meanwhile, it seems that Jeremy Calvert may have filed for divorce from Leah Messer. The couple have been on the rocks since last year when Jeremy accused Leah of cheating on him with her ex-boyfriend Robbie Kidd, the same man whom she cheated on first husband Corey Simms with.
Jeremy Calvert Files For Divorce?
The Ashley reports that it’s common knowledge around their small town that Leah and Jeremy have split up, and Jeremy is allegedly seeing another girl already. Calvert and Messer did not spend the recent Easter holiday together, nor did they celebrate their wedding anniversary with one another.
It seems that Leah will now be checking in to treatment, and that her children will be placed in the care of their fathers. This means that Corey Simms and his wife Miranda will take custody of Ali and Aleeah, something they’ve been fighting for anyway, and Jeremy Calvert will be in charge of little Adalynn. Hopefully the men will allow that sisters to see each other when Leah’s gone.
MTV Footing The Bill?
“MTV would foot the bill and force Leah into rehab because the network loves her,” the source stated. “They last thing they want to see is her going down the same dark path that [co-stars] Amber Portwood and Jenelle Evans did.”
However, the “Teen Mom 2” star may be in denial. Why she thinks she needs professional help, sources reveal that she won’t admit she has a drug problem.
“She won’t say she has a drug problem or needs rehab,” an insider said. “She’s saying she’s going to go away to a ‘therapy intervention’ place for three or four weeks so she can find herself and help herself be a better person.”
“Teen Mom 2” cameras are reportedly catching it all and will air footage of this time in Leah’s life when Season 6 premieres later this year.
