Amber Portwood of “Teen Mom OG” reveals it is time to face the music about her past. According to The Ashley, Portwood Amber had better get set to answer a lot of tough questions really soon.
Portwood claims that her 12-year-old daughter Leah has “definitely been coming at her” wanting and has all kinds of questions about Amber’s past in prison.

“Teen Mom OG” fans knew that the day would come when Portwood would be forced to sit down with her daughter and do a whole lot of explaining.
Leah is in for a crazy story, especially when it comes to details of her mom, Amber, and dad Gary Shirley’s past relationship issues.
The Teen Mom star will have to find a way to delicately explain to her tween daughter about her prison time, her struggles with drug addiction, and about getting physically abusive with Shirley.
Recently, Amber has had to explain to Leah about her relationship with Dimitri Garcia. In January, Teen Mom fans witnessed Portwood and Garcia conversing on Facetime.
E! News reports that Portwood exclusively told them that she and Dimitri are keeping in touch and dating.
Dimitri and Amber’s relationship still a possibility
“I haven’t seen Dimitri in 11 months,” she explained. “I still have love for him and we still talk. He’s a good guy. He’s a great guy.”
Amber continued, “I’ve never in my life met such a genuine guy. You can’t throw somebody like that away for 11 months. To sit there and say that I know what’s going to happen tomorrow or when he’s going to be coming back, that would be a lie. I do say that we’re dating and no, I don’t say we’re boyfriend and girlfriend. My whole vision at the moment is on my own personal growth and focusing on my children.”
Portwood also reveals that at this time in her life her main focus is on being the best mom to her 2-year-old son, James, who she shares with ex-Andrew Glennon, as well as Leah.
Amber admits to recently asking Leah what she thought about Dimitri. The reality star claims she just asked Leah one day out of the blue what she thought about him.
‘I don’t know. I like him,'” Leah stated according to Amber. “She’s not one to lie because when I asked about another one, she went, ‘No, I didn’t like him.’ That’s just Leah.”
Leah is not afraid to ask questions about Amber’s past. Portwood claims she is being very careful with how much information she decides to share with Leah.

“She definitely wants to know. We still talk and snap and we still say, ‘I love you.’ I still see her, but she’s just getting older and she wants to know why and what happened back in the day and she wants to know certain things.”
As much as Amber Portwood may not want to tell Leah, with today’s technology it would quite easy for her to do a little research on her own. That being said it may be in Portwood’s best interest to figure out just how she will explain her past, especially when it comes to her past relationship with Gary Shirley.
