Former Teen Mom star Jenelle Evans‘ ex and baby daddy, Nathan Griffith, is back in jail. And this time, he could be facing some serious jail time. He was arrested on April 23 in Las Vegas for allegedly strangling his girlfriend and violating probation.
Nathan Griffith, 37, is currently being held at the Clark County Detention Center with no bond due to a probation violation. This is just another unsettling chapter in the chaotic life of the former Teen Mom alum.

According to The Sun reports, Griffith was booked around midnight. The alleged incident appears to be the latest in a troubling pattern of violent behavior. A spokesperson for the Clark County Detention Center confirmed to The U.S. Sun that Nathan Griffith was taken into custody at 9:35 p.m. on Wednesday.
As of Thursday morning, the Teen Mom 2 alum remains behind bars, with no option for bail due to an alleged probation violation tied to the arrest. Griffith is expected to make his first court appearance Thursday afternoon. More details about the incident and his legal standing are expected following his court appearance.
Nathan Griffith’s Girlfriend Reaches Out To His Mom
The official details leading up to Nathan Griffith’s arrest are unclear. But here is what we know so far, courtesy of The Ashley. Nathan Griffith’s latest arrest appears to have stemmed from a heated altercation with his 21-year-old girlfriend, Anastasia Biddle. The former Teen Mom 2 dad is best known for his messy history with Jenelle Evans. He was last seen live on social media Wednesday night, filming Anastasia as she demanded he get out of her car.
As the evening progressed, things between Biddle and Griffith reportedly escalated. Anastasia was so upset by the altercation that she allegedly reached out to Nathan’s mom, Doris Davidson, for help.
The morning after the arrest, Anastasia took to Instagram, posting a screenshot of what appears to be a text exchange between her and Doris. In the message, Doris allegedly writes, “Well, you told me Nate didn’t strangle you. They have him charged on domestic battery by strangulation.”
Anastasia added her own caption to the screenshot: “I called you first man.”
Nathan’s girlfriend has since wiped every trace of him from her Instagram. She also posted a cryptic selfie wearing dark shades with a song playing in the background. The post included the lyric, “listen to your heart”—a subtle but telling sign that something went very wrong.

Nathan’s Violent History
This isn’t Nathan’s first run-in with the law, nor is it the first time he’s been accused of strangulation. Back in July 2023, Nathan was arrested after allegedly attacking his sister, Heather Griffith. She later spoke out about the terrifying ordeal, claiming he tried to kill her.
Heather stated, “He came across the kitchen and started doing what he does to all women. He started choking me. In between sessions of him choking me… I said, ‘Nate, I’m your sister, how can you do this to me?’ And he’s like, ‘I don’t care. You’re going to die.’”
Nathan pleaded guilty to felony battery in that case. In early 2024, he entered rehab after failing a drug test tied to his probation.
Unfortunately, it seems his progress didn’t last long. Reports also surfaced last year that a different woman allegedly accused Nathan of strangling and dragging her up a staircase. The charges were dropped after the alleged victim became uncooperative with authorities. However, the incident only adds to a growing list of violent accusations for Nathan Griffith.
