‘Teen Mom’ Leah Messer Opens Up About Losing Custody Of Twins

“Teen Mom 2” star Leah Messer is finally opening up about losing primary custody of her twin daughters, Ali and Aleeh Simms. Leah, who lost custody of the girls in early October hadn’t spoken out about the rumors until now. The MTV personality dished her thoughts on her ex-husband Corey Simms getting custody of the girls to Us Weekly.

Leah Messer tells the magazine that she felt very hurt when the judge ruled to grant her ex-husband Corey Simms and his wife Miranda, who is currently pregnant with a baby girl the couple plan to name Remi, custody of Ali and Aleeah. “It was like a slap in the face.”

Corey reportedly accused the “Teen Mom 2″ star of not providing stability for the girls, and brought up that Leah wasn’t getting them to school on time. “Leah just wasn’t getting them to school,” explains a source. “They were missing and they were tardy.”

However, Messer claims that those accusations just aren’t true, and that she is working on proving it. “I talked to the superintendent, and I’m sending them the [time-stamped] pictures I took to prove the girls were not tardy. They’re going to take them off.”

Leah Looking At Another Custody Battle Over Youngest Daughter?

The “Teen Mom” says she’s hoping to regain at least 50/50 custody of her two oldest daughters in the near future, because she believes the girls need time with both of their parents.

“I feel like they should have both of us in their lives. At the end of the day, my kids are going to be happy, and I don’t care what I have to do to make them happy.”

Meanwhile, rumors are flying that Leah Messer’s other ex-husband, Jeremy Calvert, whom she shares daughter Addalyn with, may also be taking her to court to get custody of the little girl after Leah allegedly wasn’t keeping an eye on Addie and she wandered out of the house. Thankfully a police officer reportedly saw the 2-year-old and brought her home.
