“Teen Mom OG” star Maci Bookout reveals after everything that she has made staying very close with ex Ryan Edwards’ mom and dad Larry and Jen Edwards a priority according to In Touch.
Maci Bookout claims it is very important to her to do everything within her power to maintain a good and trusting relationship with Ryan’s parents for their son Bentley.
Bookout reveals that she and Jen and Larry have a “really strong” co-parenting relationship considering that Bentley is only permitted to see Ryan Edwards while he is with his grandparents.
The reality star feels that she can trust Jen and Larry to do what is right for Bentley and respect her, and the way she chooses to raise her son, meaning following the guidelines, and rules that are in place concerning Bentley.
Maci reveals things do not always go smoothly, admitting there have been a few “bumps in the road” from time to time.”
“We have a really good relationship,” Maci, 28, says. “I’ve always co-parented with them. … Even through the tough times and the hard times, they’ve always supported me, and we’ve maintained a really strong relationship and bond with each other.”
Fans can see that it relieves Maci Bookout, 28, that she can count on Larry and Jen especially since she feels so uneasy about Ryan. Blasting News recently reported that Maci feels that Ryan Edwards is not living the sober life he claims he is.
Ryan claims he feels disrespected by Bentley and that he can’t even correct his son because his mom steps in to defuse the issues. Edwards claims he feels is mom and dad are so intrusive because they are afraid if Bently gets angry he will go back to Bookout complaining and their visits may come to a halt.
As for Maci Bookout, as long as things go as she believes they should there will be no issues between herself and Ryan Edwards’ parents.
“We know that Bentley is the top priority,” she says. “Us having and maintaining a good relationship is definitely in his best interest. … We all just see the bigger picture, but we also don’t … just look over or minimize the day-to-day things.”
