“Teen Mom OG” star Maci Bookout is now allowing her ex-Ryan Edwards to see the couple’s 9-year-old son Bentley every weekend according to Radar Online. It sounds as if Ryan Edwards is finally getting his life together and being a dad. “Teen Mom OG” fans are well aware of the turbulent life that Ryan Edwards had previously led due to his addiction to heroin.
Earlier this year Ryan Edwards world fell down around his feet. He was arrested on heroin-related drug charges, Maci Bookout had slapped him with a PTO, he was outed in a Tinder cheating scandal and to top it all off he announced that he and new wife Mackenzie Standifer were expecting their first child together.
Maci Bookout has previously laid out some pretty strict rules to Ryan Edwards concerning his visitation with their son Bentley. Number one and most important, Ryan was to remain clean and sober. The “Teen Mom OG” star stated to her ex bluntly that he must pass a drug test each time he wanted to see Bentley. In the past, Ryan Edwards had skipped out on spending time with his firstborn son, which indicated to all concerned that he was still using.

Now, things are very different for all concerned, especially Ryan. Ryan’s dad spoke with Radar telling them that “everything is back to normal.” He states that Ryan and the family are getting Bentley pretty much every weekend.
Larry added that Ryan and Bentley are getting along great, and things are going very well. However, Ryan Edwards does not and is not permitted to allowed b law to communicate with Maci Bookout or her family members due to the mutual restraining orders in place. Larry Edwards claims that Ryan is 100 percent sober and that he if wasn’t “trust me” claims Larry “would of “read about it by now.”
Another positive clue that points to Ryan Edwards sobriety is with his news wife Mackenzie Standifer. As previously reported a couple of months ago Mackenzie quit Instagram amid all the chaos surrounding Ryan. But, now she has returned and she and Ryan Edwards have debuted and updated their social media followers about their current lives.
It is not clear just how much of Ryan Edwards and Maci Bookout’s story will be seen in the upcoming season of “Teen Mom OG.” However, fans can look forward to the arrival of two new “Teen Mom OG” cast members with Bristol Palin and Cheyenne Floyd, who are currently filming the upcoming season.
