“Teen Mom OG” dad Ryan Edwards is being sued for $290,000 in damages from a 2018 car accident according to The Ashley.
Ryan Edwards, 33, is being sued by Tennessee residents James and Janet Byrne for negligence after he was involved in a car accident back in August 2018. The couple is demanding $290k for their suffering.
Court papers obtained by The Sun reveal The Byrnes alleges that Edwards “violently” struck his 1997 Nissan pickup while stopped at a red light. Bynes feels Edwards is to blame for the accident based on a few things. He alleges Ryan being distracted, and Ryan’s dog being present.
Ryan Edwards claims he wants proof of victims’ injuries
The court documents state that the Byrnes’ car was struck with force. Such force jarring Byrne’s head causing it to strike the rear window of his truck breaking the glass.
He also claims that Ryan was distracted by his dog riding in the passenger seat. James claims that Edwards “should have known” the dog would “interfere” with his ability to drive.
Not only does Byrne feel Ryan was distracted by the dog, and he was following his truck too closely, failing to adjust his speed. Byrne claims to have suffered bodily injuries due to the crash. He alleges he suffers from vertigo, as well as “physical impairment and disability. he is claiming physical pain and suffering, loss of capacity for the enjoyment of life, and medical, rehabilitation, and expenses.

James also claims that due to Ryan’s carelessness his wife Janet “suffered and will suffer a loss of the companionship” due to his injuries.
Ryan Edwards’ victims are asking $260,000 in injuries, damages, and losses; another $30,000 has been requested for the driver’s wife for her loss of companionship.
Edwards’ response to the lawsuit states he could “neither admit nor deny” that the driver was stopped at a red light. He also denies all claims against him.
Ryan went on requesting that the Brynes provide proof of their injuries and loss. The case is ongoing and a trial date is pending.
Edwards continues to live a turbulent life. As previously reported “Teen Mom OG” fans blasted Ryan following his nasty comments directed towards his ex-Maci Bookout.
Reality fans annoyed by Ryan Edwards terrible parenting
Maci and Ryan’s 12-year-old son Bentley recently revealed to Maci and stepfather Taylor that he did not want to see Ryan anymore unless they attended therapy sessions together.
“My main concern is that he seems to feel neglect by his father. He has a hard time knowing what to do about it,” the doctor told Maci. “It’s a difficult thing for a kid to feel that they have to teach their dad how to be a dad because that’s not their job.”
Bookout is very upset by Bentley’s feelings towards Ryan Edwards. Maci is willing to do anything to help her son deal with his feelings. She agrees to book additional therapy sessions for Bentley. Edwards, on the other hand, blames Maci. He states he feels therapy is all her idea, not Bentleys.
