Teen Mom OG fans are having a hard time believing Ryan Edwards is living a sober life after his recent appearance on this week’s reunion show. Social media was flooded with comments from viewers who believe Ryan Edwards was completely high during he and Mackenzie’s segment.
Some MTV watchers immediately began commenting that they believed Ryan Edwards’ appearance and twitchy body language was very suspicious. One fan described Ryan’s eyes as being bugged out, adding that he was having difficulty getting his words out clearly.
“Ryan was high!! Dr. Drew saw it too,” one Twitter commented.
“I acted EXACTLY like Ryan when I was faking being clean. No one holds him accountable,” another critic stated.
Not only did Ryan Edwards appear to be under the influence according to viewers he was also still refusing to fully accept his major issues dealing with his recovery.
Dr. Drew started by asking only one question , saying “So, how’s Ryan doing with his recovery?’ In which, Edwards only replied a one-word answer — “Good.” No questions were asked about what Ryan was doing to stay sober.

The next topic introduced by Dr. Drew was about the Opioid problem in America. Edwards then chimed in saying his addictions began with pain pills.
He claims he had no idea that he would ever get addicted, and claims that a friend gave him more pills when he began to have withdrawals.
He also states that he never intended to use heroin or inject it but after trying the drug there was no going back. The subject then changed to Ryan’s relationship with his 10-year-old son Bentley.
Ryan claimed Maci does nothing but talk s*** when it comes to him, and that he is done being nice. He also projected the blame to not having a father-like relationship with his son to Maci, and not on his addiction, or absence.

Ryan’s wife, Mackenzie Standifer, was also quick to defend her relationship. She made a point to express once again that Ryan is her best friend and that she totally supports him. However, some fans weren’t believing that everything is good between the couple.
Meanwhile, Ryan Edwards and Mackenzie Standifer are set to welcome their second child together, a daughter, in the near future as Teen Mom OG fans continue to wish him the best in his recovery.
