A Texas couple is being accused of taking a teen love feud too far. Luther Madison II, 39, and his wife, Angelica Madison, 39, were arrested earlier this month after they got involved in the teenage romance of their son. The pair were reportedly upset that their son’s girlfriend’s father had forbidden the young couple from seeing each other. So, the parents met up to talk about the situation. However, it soon turned violent and ended in a gunshot injury.
People Magazine reports that the Texas couple met with the parents of their teen son’s girlfriend on March 17. However, the love feud turned sour quickly when Luther Madison allegedly shot the father of his son’s girlfriend with a gun given to him by his wife, Angelica Madison, during an argument.
Police were called to the area when they were informed of two men fighting on the street, followed by a gunshot. When authorities arrived on the scene, they found a male victim with a gunshot wound to the chest.
County Constable Mark Herman revealed more about the incident via Facebook. According to Herman, the victim claimed that the Madisons contacted him and asked for his family’s help to keep their son away from his daughter because she was “too young to be dating.” However, the talk didn’t go as planned.

Instead, the two men began fighting, and Angelica Madison took a gun out of her pocket and handed it to her husband, Luther, who then allegedly shot the other father. The victim was taken to the hospital, but his condition is currently unknown.
Of course, many were stunned by the story.
“Gee, any wonder why dad didn’t want his daughter dating this boy!? Dad knew something was off & he was right!! She better NEVER doubt her daddy again!!” one person commented.
“They both belong in jail charged with attempted murder,” said another.
“They definitely won’t be dating now. People are idiots, ruining the lives of 2 families over BS,” a third person stated.
“Why would you bring a gun to discuss with another adult about your children dating. Sounds like they knew they were going to use the gun before they even exchanged words,” a fourth comment read.
The Texas couple accused was arrested and booked into the Harris County jail. They are being charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon. Luther Madison’s bond was set at $100,000. Meanwhile, Angelica Madison’s bond is $25,000. However, their teen love feud drama is far from over. They’ll return to court in May to face the music.
