That 90s Show gave fans a glimpse into the next generation of Point Place teens. However, it also revealed some big insights into what the original characters have been up to as well. It also revealed what happened between Jackie and Fez. When the show kicks off, Eric Forman (Topher Grace), comes home to Wisconsin to spend a holiday weekend with his parents Red (Kurtwood Smith) and Kitty (Debra Jo Rupp). Eric brought with him his teenage daughter Leia and his wife, Donna (Laura Prepon).
During the first episode of That 90s Show, Eric and Donna revealed that they lived in Chicago. Eric confirmed that he was a professor and that he taught classes about his favorite subject — Star Wars. Meanwhile, Donna is an author who recently penned a book. Although the way, the fates of Fez, Jackie, and Kelso were also discovered.
That 90s Show: Why did Fez and Jackie split up?
While it was revealed that Kelso (Ashton Kutcher) and Jackie (Mila Kunis) had been doing to make a living, the couple were together. In the pilot episode, Kelso and Jackie are revealed to be the parents of Leia’s new friend, Jay. They are also getting remarried for the second time and are hopeful to make it last this time around.
As for Fez (Wilmer Valderrama), he still runs his hair salon and has become a bit of a local celebrity. During one funny scene between Fez and Kitty, the two dish about Fez’s love life. Kitty asked Fez what happened between him and Jackie. As fans of That 70s Show may remember, Jackie had serious romances with Kelso, Hyde, and Fez during the show. When the series ended, Jackie and Fez seemed to be headed for a great love story.

Meanwhile, Fez told Kitty that after he and Jackie got together he took her on a tropical vacation. However, their relationship couldn’t outlast Jackie’s feelings for Kelso. Fez admitted to Kitty that while on their romantic getaway, Fez found Jackie talking on the phone to Kelso. The two obviously called it quits following Jackie’s betrayal.
Now, Fez is looking for something more serious. He’s dating Red and Kitty’s neighbor and seems to be happy about it. So, it appears that the gang is all paired off in their adult lives. However, That 90s Show didn’t reveal what happened to Steven Hyde (Danny Masterson).
Mila Kunis speaks out about Jackie’s choice
Meanwhile, Mila Kunis reveals that she believed Jackie and Kelso shouldn’t have ended up together. Instead, Kunis admits that she believes Jackie and Fez should have been endgame although she’s married to Kutcher in real life, per People.
“My husband and I are together in [the new show], which is weird ’cause we shouldn’t have been,” she said. “You know what, I called B.S. I was like, ‘My character would be with Fez.’ I think that I ended up with Wilmer’s character. And I was like, ‘Why are you and I together?’ And also, he was married when ’70s ended — to Shannon Elizabeth’s character, I think.”
Fans loved seeing the original That 70s Show characters return for That 90s Show. Hopefully, they’ll return if the show gets renewed for Season 2.
