The Bachelorette Season 16 has officially kicked off, and it’s set to be a wild ride, just like the rest of 2020. The show depicts leading lady Clare Crawley meeting her men, and instantly feeling a connection to Dale Moss.
However, Life & Style Magazine reports that Clare and Dale may have such a strong connection because they had already been in contact before the season started.
‘The Bachelorette’ Clare & Dale’s connection revealed
During the premiere episode, Clare is seen swooning over Dale after they “meet” for the first time. During the face to face encounter, Dale picked Clare up and wrapped her in a warm and firm embrace. She looked smitten and even told the camera that she felt like she had just met her future husband — on night one!
However, sources claim that the meeting wasn’t the first time that Clare and Dale were in contact with each other.
“Clare did reach out to him prior to him leaving again for filming. He had left originally in March and then production stopped. I think his intentions for going on the show are just to give it a try,” said the source.
During a sneak peek, Clare claimed that she didn’t talk to any of the men prior to the beginning of the season. However, she did admit that one of them, Blake Moynes, reached out to her during the time that her mother was in the hospital.
Did Clare break the rules?
“I didn’t want to bring this up, but there are these weird rules that we have to follow for the show of not contacting somebody, and you were the only guy who reached out to me the entire time. So, you broke the rule that you’re not supposed to contact somebody,” Clare told Blake.
As for the most dramatic season ever, Clare’s may actually hold the title.
WARNING: Major spoilers below!
Multiple sources claim that Clare was instantly ready to commit to Dale, and that she threatened to quit the show just 12 days into filming.
The most dramatic season ever!
Clare reportedly told production that she no longer want to be The Bachelorette because she had fallen head over heels in love with Dale. The shake up then prompted the show to go in a much different direction.
After Clare bailed, Tayshia Adams was brought in to replace her, essentially rebooting the entire season. A few new men were also brought in to round out her choices.
The Bachelorette airs Tuesday nights a 8 p.m. on ABC.
