“The Boys” Season 3 is upon us. The superhero television series, which streams on Amazon Prime, is a mix of drama, comedy, and action. It’s also gotten viewers totally hooked. With two seasons already released, fans can’t wait to see what’s in store for Season 3.

According to TV Guide, production on “The Boys” Season 3 is already underway. However, Amazon is currently staying tight-lipped about when the new episodes may begin to air. However, it seems likely that a release date may be set for late 2021 or early 2022.

Fan-favorite cast members such as Jack Quaid, Laz Alonso, Karen Fukuhara, Karl Urban, Tomer Kapon, Erin Moriarty, Chace Crawford, Jesse T. Usher, Antony Starr, Dominique McElligott will all return for Season 3. Meanwhile, former “Supernatural” star Jenson Ackles is set to appear as a new hero, WWII-era superhuman, Soldier Boy, and spoiler alert — he has a history with Stormfront!

Jensen Ackles joins the cast as Soldier Boy

“Yes, he knew her when she was Liberty,” showrunner Erik Kripke previously told the outlet. “There’s a history of Vought that we’re starting to map out because Soldier Boy has been a mainstay of Vought for decades. He was like John Wayne there, and so as a result, we’re writing the history of Vought and how all the characters weave in together.”

In addition, Kripke also gave fans a huge spoiler tidbit, revealing that the popular comic book storyline “Herogasm” will be seen during “The Boys” Season 3. The event is a yearly retreat for the supes that is a graphic sexual experience, which will be portrayed on the small screen during a new episode.

Kripke also confirmed that Stormfront is not dead, despite losing her limbs in an epic battle at the end of Season 2. However, that doesn’t mean that she’ll return for Season 3, even though fans are hoping to see the devious character return to wreak more havoc on the world, and Hughie and his gang.

Although fans will have to wait at least a few more months to see what’s in store for Season 3 of “The Boys,” viewers can relive the glory of Seasons 1 and 2, which are currently streaming on Amazon Prime.
