The Cleveland Browns are one of the most talented teams in the NFL from top to bottom, but they can also one of the most sloppy teams in the league. The Browns started off the season against the team that ended their season last year the Kansas City Chiefs. The Browns had one goal in mind going into Arrowhead Stadium and that was to win at all costs. But after an amazing first half by Cleveland the Chiefs flipped a switch and the Browns choked away the lead in an embarrassing fashion.

Dead Spin notes that whenever a team plays Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs, you know that the margin for error is slim, especially when they are in attack mode and coming back from behind. Baker Mayfield and the Browns played so well heading into the last quarter. You can’t deny that the Browns are one of the best teams in the NFL, but they just don’t have that “it” factor yet like the Chiefs do.”

The Chiefs know how to make big plays in the right moments and maybe that is what the Browns need to learn to do if they want to be taken seriously in this league. Despite the loss, there were many positive things to focus on.

Cleveland Browns fans still hopeful after NFL opener loss

Baker Mayfield looked pretty good other than the intersection to ice the game. Nick Chubb also looks amazing as he was eating the defense for breakfast in the first half. If the Browns can just keep their foot on the gas pedal the entire game they will have no problems beating any team in the NFL. It will be very interesting to see how the Browns intend to bounce back next Sunday against the Texans

For now we can only wait and hope that the Cleveland Browns take this loss personally and come out swinging even harder for the rest of the season, because if they do not they could possibly kiss their Super Bowl hopes goodbye.

As The Browns look to get into the win column they have a light at the end of the tunnel as Odell Beckham Jr. should be back and ready to play by next week and that could have a huge impact on the Browns attack plan. But only time will tell as we will have to wait until next week to see what will happen. Either way it is only one game and The Browns are not the team they have been for years, this team is special.
