The Cleveland Cavaliers are a young team in the Eastern Conference. Tonight The Cavaliers are looking to get their third straight win over a struggling Phoenix Suns team. While the Cleveland Cavaliers are sitting at 24-14 at the four seed in the east, things are not so great in PHX.

Devin Booker and the Phoenix Suns are currently 20-18 and sit in 8th place in the Western Conference.  Looking back a few days ago for the Cleveland Cavaliers we see history being made. When The Cavaliers faced off against the Chicago Bulls in Cleveland Donovan Mitchell went off for a huge 71 points in the overtime comeback win! If that does not motivate the Cleveland Cavaliers to win this game nothing will.

A Tight Race In The East

The Cleveland Cavaliers are in a tight race for the 1st seed in the Eastern Conference and you can imagine that they want to win this game a lot. With the possibility of still not having Darius Garland or Even Mobley the Cavaliers will have to use their high advantage with Jarrett Allen and Robin Lopez to enforce their will on the Suns. It seems like Garland and Mobley will both be out again from what Cleveland.com’s starting lineup projection is.

While on the other hand, the Suns look pretty healthy. They will be starting Booker, Ayton, and Paul against the Cavaliers. Despite the Suns’ recent struggles, this team can go off on any given night. The Cleveland Cavaliers will have to be careful not to underestimate this team and its decorated players. It will be a battle of two fairly young teams in this interconference matchup. The Suns are looking to shake off their losing habits as the Cavaliers look to stay in the win column.

Can The Cavs Force The Suns Inside?

Cleveland’s perimeter defense has been an issue all season so far. The Cavs will have to try and find a way to force the Suns inside and let their rim protectors do their thing. It will be very interesting to see how Booker and CP3 will try to attack the Cavaliers if their three-point shooting fails them. Both teams like to score a lot so it will be whoever shows up defensively.
