Fans are patiently awaiting the newest season of Star Wars’ The Mandalorian. The next season of the popular series is rumored to be released in 2022, and so far that checks out but one star says that Season 3 of the Mandalorian starts filming next month.
Fans were confused when it was announced that The Book Of Boba Fett was swooping into the end of the year release spot that many thought would be claimed by The Mandalorian Season 3. The Star Wars community was far from disappointed but was also a little sad that they would have to wait so long to see what happens to Mando and his friends after the thrilling events of the season two finale.
“One of the presumed stumbling blocks has been leading man Pedro Pascal’s schedule, with the actor in Canada shooting HBO’s video game adaptation The Last of Us until next summer, a far cry from the California sound stages that The Mandalorian calls home. However, recurring star and occasional director Carl Weathers has revealed that cameras are set to start rolling on the Star Wars smash hit within the next month. And so now, we’re gonna start a new season of The Mandalorian, within the next month. Yeah. And I get to be in front of the camera again, and I get to direct again.” reports We Got This Covered.
Fans are excited for The Mandalorian Season 3
After fan favorite and one of the strongest Jedi Masters to ever live Luke Skywalker swooped in and saved the day in the season two finale fans have been wanting more and more of the Mandalorian series, and they want to know what is going to happen next.
Another plotline fans are very excited about is that now the Mando has the Darksaber. For those of you that don’t know, a Mandalorian that has a claim to the Darksaber has the right to rule over all other Mandalorians.
It will be very interesting to see how the other Mandalorians react to the Mando wielding the Darksaber. The Star Wars community should be very happy about where the franchise is heading and the people working to get it there as they really all live Star Wars for the most part. One thing is for sure season three will be here before we know it and it will be amazing. But for now, we will have to wait until next year to see how it all plays out. It is sure to be a rollercoaster ride.
