“The Martian” trailer is all movie fans are talking about this week. The science fiction movie is likely to be a huge blockbuster, and with the release of the trailer, fans are getting their first look at Matt Damon’s new role.
‘The Martian’ Trailer: Matt Damon Stuns in First Look
Matt Damon plays astronaut Mark Watney, who gets left behind during a NASA mission to Mars. He must then try to make his 31-day living quarters into a 4-year home, and figure out how to use the little food he has to grow years worth of food on a planet where nothing grows.
He also needs to figure out a way to send a message to NASA to reveal to them that he is still alive. When his crew gets wind that he survived, they want to go against NASA’s wishes and return to Mars to rescue him.

The movie is based on the best-selling book by Andy Weir, also titled “The Martian,” and fans will probably be flocking to book stores to pick up the novel before watching Matt Damon’s portrayal of Mark Watney on the big screen.
