The Masked Singer aired it’s third episode of Season 4 on Wednesday night. During the episode, The Giraffe, The Sun, Snow Owls, and Pop Corn all took the stage to perform some hit songs. However, one had to go, and it ended up being The Giraffe who was unmasked, leaving the judges stunned by the celebrity underneath the elaborate costume.
The Giraffe was eliminated during Wednesday’s episode.
After singing “Get Down On It,” The Giraffe was voted off the show, and revealed to be none other than actor Brian Austin Green. While none of the judges guessed Brian, guest judge, Joel McHale did guess Green’s former Beverly Hills, 90210 co-star, Jason Priestley.
Some of the clues pointed straight to Brian being under the mask. A fox was repeatedly seen, which hinted at his marriage to estranged wife, actress Megan Fox. The number four domino also referred to his four sons, three of which she shares with Fox.
Brian Austin Green’s connection to Robin Thicke revealed
There were also plenty of peaches in the clue package, which was a nod to the gang’s 90210 hangout, The Peach Pit. Of course, fans who watched the teen drama also know that Brian was always singing and dancing on the series. His character, David Silver, was a budding artist who was constantly trying to break into the music business while maintaining a relationship with the love of his life, Donna Martin, played by actress Tori Spelling.
One of the funniest moments after the unmasking came after Brian revealed that he and judge Robin Thicke were not only best friends growing up, but that they were also neighbors. The pair even had a singing group together when they were kids. The show then flashed to a photo of Robin and Brian smiling for the camera. Thicke also revealed that he would spend a ton of time on the set of 90210 with his pal.
Following the elimination of The Giraffe, there are only four contestants left in Group A. The Sun, who has been rumored to be LeAnn Rimes and Demi Lovato, stole the show on Wednesday night. The Pop Corn, who continues to confuse judges, the dynamic duo of the Snow Owls, who are believed to be a country music singing team, are still left in the competition.
The Masked Singer fans have a ton of guesses for each famous person hiding under the elaborate costumes, and there are plenty of episodes left to continue to unmasks the stars.
