The Masked Singer returns on Wednesday night for the Group B playoffs. During the night’s performances The Crocodile will take the stage. He’s a true performer and looks to know his way around the stage.

Is The Masked Singer’s Crocodile Neil Patrick Harris?

While there are a ton of guesses about who The Crocodile may be, one of the most popular guesses is actor Neil Patrick Harris. Fans of the star know that he can do it all. He acts, sings, and dances. Sometimes at the same time.

Harris has appeared in shows such as Doogie Howser, where he played a teenage doctor, and How I Met Your Mother, where he portrayed the character of Barney Stinson, a hilarious womanize.

However, other people believe that former boy bander, Nick Carter, may be the Crocodile. Nick is best known for his part in the famous boy band, Backstreet Boys. Nick, per Screen Rant.

Nick Carter could be behind the mask

In the clue package some references to growing up in Hollywood and the pain that he’s endured over the years. Nick comes from a famously dysfunctional family, which also includes singer Aaron Carter.

The Crocodile previously sang a Bon Jovi song, and wowed the crowd and judges with his vocal chops. The judges guessed some famous names such as Nich Lachey, Jon Hamm, and even Jenny McCarthy’s husband, New Kids On The Block member, Donnie Wahlberg.

Last week, it was The Giraffe that was voted off the show. Underneath the towering mask it was revealed that former Beverly Hills, 90210 actor Brian Austin Green.

Green revealed that he had a special connection to judge Robin Thicke, who was his childhood best friend. The pair even started a singing duo together as kids trying to make it in the music business. As adults, they are currently neighbors.

Fans give their best guesses

“The Crocodile on Masked Singer is Greg Louganis! The rainbow, born in California, water is his second home AND he was a theater major in college and has been on Broadway!” one person tweeted.

“Hello I regret to inform you all that I still watch The Masked Singer and I further regret to inform you that I’m pretty sure the crocodile is Perez Hilton,” a third person wrote.

“Crocodile – Zac Efron, Ryan Lochte, Macaulay Culkin,” a fourth comment read.

The Masked Singer airs Wednesday nights at 8 p.m. on the Fox network.
