History Has Been Made!

Jokic has had a historic NBA Championship run. After posting a 30-point, 20-rebound, and 10-assist game Jokic was only focused on winning the next one. He downplayed every historic night he had this postseason. “It’s just a stat,” he said. “I don’t care.” as reported by USA Today.com. Nikola Jokic wanted that ring! He constantly dismissed his greatness to focus on great team play. “My focus has never been those kinds of records or whatever the media are putting on me. I’m just trying to win a game and just play every game. Go step-by-step and play every game to win a game, as simple as that.”

The Denver Nuggets took the best of seven series with a gentleman’s sweep over the Miami Heat. Even though the Heat lost 4-1 they also had a historic Finals run. From being the 8th seed and a pay-in team to playing in the NBA Finals. Jimmy Butler and the Miami Heat have nothing to be ashamed of when it comes to this loss. For a team that was never even supposed to be there, they put up a great fight.
