The Notebook” is one of the most beloved romance movies of all time, and a fan favorite novel by Nicholas Sparks, and soon it will be a TV series at the CW!

‘The Notebook’ TV Show In The Works At The CW

That’s right, “The Notebook” TV show is in development at the network that brought fans beloved shows like “One Tree Hill” and “The Vampire Diaries.” Unfortunately, Ryan Gosling and Rachel McAdams won’t be reprising their roles as Noah and Allie.

Entertainment Weekly reports that while details on the possible series are scarce, it will follow Noah and Allie’s relationship as they learn and grow together and apart in 1940’s North Carolina, post World War II.

More Of Noah and Allie’s Story Coming!

“This series will follow the romantic journey of the two beloved central characters Noah and Allie, at the outset of their blossoming relationship as they build their lives and their future together against the backdrop of the racial politics, economic inequities, and social mores of post-World War II of the late 1940s in North Carolina.”

The show is in early development, and if picked up will have fans swooning for sure. Hopefully, they cast someone who can hold a candle to Ryan Gosling‘s amazing and heartfelt performance as Noah Calhoun, and a leading lady as beautiful and graceful as Rachel McAdams portrayed Allie.

We are so excited for the TV show and are keeping our fingers crossed that it all works out for “The Notebook” series.
