“The Summer I Turned Pretty” Season 3 is officially happening. The hit Amazon Prime series will return for another season that will have fans transported back to Cousins Beach, and right in the middle of the love triangle between Belly, Conrad, and Jeremiah. Season 2 of the show was a huge hit and the penultimate episode concluded with Belly and Jeremiah deciding to give their romance another shot. Sadly, this hurt Jeremiah’s older brother Conrad, who is also in love with Belly. With the conclusion of the sophomore season, fans can’t wait to find out how it all play out in the next batch of episodes.

“The Summer I Turned Pretty” Season 3 has been confirmed by Amazon. It will likely return to the streaming platform next summer. However, the Hollywood strikes could delay that process, so check back to Hollywood News Daily for all the latest info. In addition, Season 3 will likely also be the last for the show. The series is adapted from Jenny Han’s book series, which includes three novels. So far, each novel has covered one season of the show, leaving fans to believe the next season could be the last.

Jenny Han is a gifted storyteller, whose fans have been clamoring for the third chapter of this story. We’re excited today to share the news that they have a lot more Summer to look forward to. Thank you to Jenny, Sarah Kucserka, and Karen Rosenfelt and our friends at wiip for their remarkable work and partnership,” Sanders added.

TSITP Season 3 will have even more episodes

The Summer I Turned Pretty” is expected to begin production as soon as the WGA and SAG-AFTRA strikes have been resolved. Meanwhile, the original cast including Lola Tung (Belly), Christopher Briney (Conrad), Gavin Casalegno (Jeremiah), Sean Kaufman (Steven), Rain Spencer (Taylor), and Jackie Chung (Laurel) are expected to return. Of course, fans are also hoping to catch glimpses of the supporting characters like Skye (Elsie Fisher), Cam (David Iacono), Adam (Tom Everett Scott) Julia (Kyra Sedgwick), and others. Hopefully, Suzannah (Rachel Blanchard) will also be written into Season 3 in some form as well.

Season 3 will likely cover the events of the third book, which is an emotional rollercoaster (See the spoilers here!) In addition, fans can expect the next season of “The Summer I Turned Pretty” to be even longer than the previous seasons. Jenny Han has already confirmed via Instagram that the season will include 10 episodes.
