TVD viewers know that Caroline has been harboring some feelings for Elena’s ex-boyfriend, Stefan, but trying to suppress them. However, season 6 will be a whole new game.
“Caroline’s got a little crush/feeling for someone that’s going to creep up to the surface and cause a potential rift between her and one of her friends. So she’s like, ‘I’m going to push that down,’” Vampire Diaries exec Caroline Dries told TV Line.
But moving into Season 6, Dries said, “We’re going to see [Caroline] set her sights on [said crush] and try to make a move.”
How will Elena react?
There you have it. Caroline is totally going to go after Stefan, and it will of course cause problems with Elena, who will likely find herself feeling jealous, hurt, and angry.
