‘The Walking Dead’ Season 5, Episode 3 — Bob Dies, Maggie and Glenn Leave the Group
Bob, who was captured by the Terminus survivors lets his captors in on a little secret. He’s been bitten and they’re all eating “tainted meat.” Gareth and the guys then decided to send Rick’s group a message and leave a dying Bob in front of the church for them to find.
When he’s found, Bob is forced to reveal to Sasha and the others that he’s been bitten. They try to make him comfortable as he spends his final hours with Sasha.
‘The Walking Dead’ recap: Oct. 26, 2014
Meanwhile, Abraham, Rosita, and Eugene want to leave for Washington D.C. at that minute and not risk running in to the Terminus gang again. However, Rick tells them they can’t leave without Daryl and Carol who are still missing.
Abraham agrees to stay one more day and help get Gareth’s group as long as Glenn, Maggie, and Tara come with him to D.C. the next day no matter what. They agree, and head out to find Gareth.
However, Gareth and the “Termites” are watching, and wait for the group to leave Sasha, Bob, Tyreese, Carl, Judith, Rosita, Father Gabriel, and others behind before entering the church to try and get them.
Just as Judith begins to cry and Gareth makes his move he and his men are fired upon, and Rick’s group is standing behind them waiting to take them out. Rick disarms the Terminus gang and has a little chat with Gareth before the group uses brutally kills them, just as Rick promised Gareth he would do back at Terminus.
Later, Michone finds her sword, and the gang says goodbye to Abraham, Rosita, Eugene, Tara, Glenn, and Maggie, who give them a map of their route so that they can catch up upon finding Daryl and Carol.
Later that night, Daryl emerges from the woods to find Michone outside the church. “Where is Carol?” she asks, and then Daryl motions for someone to come out of the woods, but the episode is over and we don’t get to see who it was.
